Isle of Wight - one representative

Rose Wiltshire

I moved to the island in 1976. I worked at Whitecroft Hospital as a qualified registered mental health nurse for some years. I was secretary of the social club for six years organising many events. I owned a residential home for the elderly for 16 years before retiring, and am now a member of the Healthwatch enter and view team. I have worked on many good committees and can work as part of a team. I have gained lots of local knowledge with working and living here. I am hard working, open and honest, never quick to judge and have time to give. The island is a very special place to live and I am happy to try to give something back to the residents by representing them at University Hospital Southampton.

Declaration of interest: volunteer on enter and view panel for Healthwatch (Isle of Wight), volunteer at the Earl Mountbatten charity shop for Kissypuppy - The Sophie Rolf Fund, part-time greeter at Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
