World Kidney Day lectures: kidneys and women's health

Join us for a day of fascinating lectures for World Kidney Day. This day is aimed at those in clinical professions who would like to learn more about the kidneys and kidney conditions. This year's theme is kidneys and women's health, and topics will include:

  • the management of UTI and pyelonephritis in women (Mr Bhaskar K Somani, UHS)
  • getting pregnant when you have chronic kidney disease (Dr Kate Wiles, King's College Hospital)
  • a patient's experience of chronic kidney disease and transplant (Miss Nicole McKenzie)
  • women and altruism: patterns of kidney donation in a multicentre research study (Dr Kristin Veighey, UHS).
