PEAT scores
PEAT (Patient Environment Action Teams) is an annual assessment of non-clinical aspects of patient care, such as cleanliness, food and infection control, for inpatient healthcare sites in England. It allows us to compare ourselves and share ideas for improvements with other hospitals.
NHS sites and NHS trusts are each given scores from 1 (unacceptable) to 5 (excellent) for standards of environment, food and dignity and privacy within buildings).
