2018: The year in review
For our first members’ evening of 2019, we have decided to look back at some of the big stories and achievements from within the Trust over the last 12 months and will be showcasing some of the amazing work that happened at University Hospital Southampton.
- a fascinating insight into the eye unit's latest research projects and how they are helping to improve outcomes for patients
- a behind the scenes talk on the recently launched specialist emergency assessment unit for older patients and how it is improving the quality of care older people receive in an emergency
- a discussion on the importance of resuscitation awareness and the work of the resuscitation services team at UHS
The event will take place on Monday, 21 January from 6pm to 8pm in the Heartbeat Education Centre lecture theatre, F level, North Wing, Southampton General Hospital.
These events are free to attend and you are welcome to bring guests. If any of your guests aren’t members, they are still welcome to attend and there will be sign-up forms available on the evening if they would like to join. This event is open to all UHS staff and their friends and families.
If you wish to book a place at this event, please email the membership team via firstname.lastname@example.org or call 023 8120 5957.
