Rob Barrington visited Southampton General Hospital to present radiology staff with a generous cheque for £1,200. As captain of Bramshott Golf Club last year, Mr Barrington was keen to donate to Southampton Hospital Charity's radiology fund after daughter Holly sadly died of cancer last year. Members of the club raised the money from a number of fundraising activities
Mr Barrington said, "Last year, I saw at first hand what good work the radiology department does to help people who are suffering from cancer. The Radiology fund was an obvious choice for me when deciding which charity I would like the monies raised to go to. Hopefully, this donation in memory of my daughter, will help to ease the suffering of others in the future."
