Saturday Kitchen celebrity chef James Martin, along with 150 members of the New Forest Harley Owners Club, visited children at Southampton General Hospital recently.
The bikers, who have visited for many years, were greeted by patients and staff outside the main entrance of the hospital. The sight of so many bikers and the sound of their roaring engines pleased the children who had gathered to welcome them.
James Martin, accompanied by some of the other bikers, then spent their time visiting children and distributing toys.
Fiona Delement, play specialist at Southampton General said, “The children and parents were really excited about the visit on Sunday and we’re very grateful to James Martin and the other bikers for giving up their time to drop by and say hello.”
