Southampton Hospital Charity's 5km Fun Run

Southampton Hospital Charity is delighted to invite the whole family to put on their running shoes for the charity’s annual Fun Run on Sunday 15 May at Sandy Balls Holiday Park, in the New Forest.

With the starting gun at 11am, participants are invited to run or walk the 5km course, and there will be a shorter course available for children.

The Fun Run, which is kindly sponsored by Aviva, gives supporters the chance to raise funds for the area of Southampton General Hospital or the Princess Anne Hospital that they personally want to help, such as a particular ward or department where they received care.  Sponsorship money can also be raised for Southampton Hospital Charity’s main fundraising project, the £2.2million Red & White Appeal|, to create a specialist treatment unit for patients with leukaemia and other life threatening blood disorders from across the region.

Medals will be awarded to all participants, and there will be refreshments available throughout the day.

A discounted entry fee of £10 for adults and £5 for children is offered to participants registering before 30 April, so don’t delay, sign up today!
