Residential Grant Writing Retreat

The NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) South West is offering an opportunity for researchers in health and health services to develop their research proposals in a supportive environment in the Residential Grant Writing Retreat 2017.

Participating teams will have a chance to make a rapid progress over a short period of time and to ensure their proposal is suitable for funding stream submission. The Retreat includes a daily seminar, working with the support of the Retreat's advisor team and learning from critical review sessions.

The deadline for proposals is Wednesday 26 April at 1pm.

RDS has also announced two free to attend workshops in June and July this year.

  • Preparing a Research Proposal for NIHR Programme Grants for Applied Research (PGfAR) & NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB)
    • Date: Wednesday 14 June 2017 (10am – 4.45pm)
  • NIHR Academic Fellowship Application Day
    • Date: Wednesday 12 July 2017 (10am – 4.15pm)

Both events will take place at Richard Doll Lecture Theatre & Atrium, University of Oxford, Old Road Campus, Headington, Roosevelt Drive, Oxford, OX3 7LF.
