Dr Davidson has worked for Southampton University Hospitals Trust since April 2001.

Pre-registration and SHO medical rotation Glasgow (1989-1992)

Registrar in Clinical Immunology (Aug 1992-July 1996)
Newcastle General Hospital. This 4 year registrar post was based at the Regional Immunology Department at Newcastle General Hospital with attachments to other relevant department including rheumatology, chest medicine, haematology, the tissue-typing department of the Blood Transfusion Service and histopathology. This provided a broad training in clinical immunology and related clinical disciplines.

Senior Registrar Rheumatology (July 1996- March 2001). Northern regional rotation. This post was based at the Freeman Hospital, with a one year rotation to South Cleveland Hospital (Year 2) and Dryburn Hospital (Year 5). This provided training in all aspect of clinical rheumatology, together with more specialist training in the management of connective tissue disorders.
