Key achievements

My research is directed at preventing cardio-respiratory disease, obesity & type 2 diabetes through new interventions addressing their origins during early development. Major policy implications are recognised by the UK Foresight Obesity Project, NICE (Maternal & Child Nutrition and Excessive weight gain in pregnancy consultations) & the Food Standards Agency.
