Dr Lovett has worked for Southampton University Hospitals Trust since 2005. 

Three years working in the Stroke Prevention Research Unit in Oxford with Professor Peter Rothwell, researching the pathoepidemiology of the high eraly risk of stroke after a TIA or minor stroke. Specialist Registrar Training in Neurology in Plymouth, Exeter and Southampton.

Key achievements

Development of the 24 hour stroke thrombolysis service in Southampton General Hospital.
