Miss Manners has worked for Southampton University Hospitals Trust since October 1994. 

Lead Consultant of the Southampton Oculoplastics Service since 1994 (1 subspecialty clinic and 2 theatre lists/week). Tertiary referral centre for Oculoplastics for Hampshire, Isle of Wight & Channel Islands. Regular cataract surgery since 1994. 1 - 2 general clinics/week. Teaching and training since 1994

Key achievements

Oculoplastics Fellowship training post (run jointly with Salisbury Eye Dept.) since 1996 which attracts international applicants. Establishment and current expansion of the Southampton Oculoplastics Service. Southern region representative of British Oculoplastics Society Clinical Director of Southampton Eye Unit 2003 - 2006
