Dr Millar has worked for Southampton University Hospitals Trust since July 1994.
Key achievements
I introduced endovascular coil treatment of cerebral aneurysms to Wessex Neurological Centre in June 1995. I lead the Interventional Neuroradiology service which, in addition to aneurysm treatment, includes endovascular therapy of vascular malformations and tumours of the brain and spine.
Through my involvement with the UK Neurointerventional Group I have advanced the clinical audit of Neurointerventional procedures in the UK by developing a nationwide clinical database.
