Experience

Dr Rees has worked for Southampton University Hospitals Trust since September 2005.

I have an honorary consultant contract at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital Foundation Trust.

I completed the majority of my training in medical oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital London and Sutton between 1996-2003.

I worked for the Institute of Cancer Research at Sutton in the Phase I trials unit from 1996-1999.

I was actively involved in the recruitment of patients to Phase I-III clinical trials throughout my training at the Royal Marsden.

I was appointed as Consultant in Medical Oncology and honorary lecturer at St George’s Hospital, Tooting, London in 2003-2005.

Key achievements

I am on the National Specialist Advisory Committee for Medical Oncology.
I am the Training Programme Director for Medical Oncology for Wessex deanery.

Medical Research Council Scholarship for BSc in Pharmacology.
