Experience

Dr Roseveare has worked for Southampton University Hospitals Trust since January 2000.

One of the first acute medicien consultants to be appointed in the UK; established the department of acute medicine in Southampton in 2000 and led the development of the project resulting in the building of the AMU in 2006. Have overseen the expansion of the acute medicine department which now comprises 5 consultants and 3 specialist registrars.

Key achievements

Established the department of acute medicine and the new AMU in Southampton
Developed the acute medicine training programme in Wessex, and have been programme director for the region as well as wessex representative on the Specialist Advisory Committee at the Royal College of Physicians.
Founder member and Treasurer of Society for Acute Medicine (UK) 2000-2007.
