Intravenous drug administration (update course)

Course description

This course covers the pertinent aspects of intravenous drug and fluid administration and care in line with Trust policy. Depending on the work areas of the participants, the course will cover peripheral and central lines.

Target audience

The course is designed for Trust staff who have given IV drugs in another Trust or those who have attended a UHS IV study day over two years ago and need updating on current practice and theory.

The session is run informally as a question and answer session, so the focus of the session is determined by the needs of the group.
