Transthoracic echocardiography course
Course description
This course will introduce the physics of ultrasound allowing echo cardiographers to understand how images are created. The delegates will be provided will detailed information regarding image acquisition. Practical teaching to optimise image quality will support this. Case studies will be used to develop echocardiographic interpretation and introduce cardiac pathologies. The course will also provide on-line resources to continue the learning experience post event. This module has been aligned with the national competency framework.
