e-Quest (electronic requesting and results)
Course description
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
-
login and log out of e-Quest correctly
-
identify patients by hospital number
-
carry out adequate searches to successfully retrieve patients using the Patient Master Index
-
request orders for patients as appropriate
-
acknowledge results in a timely manner as appropriate
-
select and retrieve results as appropriate
-
interpret the main principals of the data protection act
-
explain the importance of data quality in requesting orders and/or retrieving results
