Course description
This course provides an introduction to creating and editing presentations using PowerPoint 2007.
Aims and outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:

create and edit PowerPoint slides
-
apply and update templates to the slides
-
apply different layouts to the slides
-
insert and copy text onto the slides
-
insert pictures
-
draw shapes on the slides using the drawing tools
-
set up and run a slideshow
-
print slides and handouts
Target audience
Any member of staff who is required to use PowerPoint.
Prerequisites
Students must be able to competently use a mouse, keyboard and have an understanding of managing files in Windows. Students should also have knowledge of using Microsoft Word.
