Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (introduction) course

Course description

This course provides an introduction to creating and editing presentations using PowerPoint 2007.

 
Aims and outcomes

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • create and edit PowerPoint slides
  • apply and update templates to the slides
  • apply different layouts to the slides
  • insert and copy text onto the slides
  • insert pictures
  • draw shapes on the slides using the drawing tools
  • set up and run a slideshow
  • print slides and handouts
 
Target audience

Any member of staff who is required to use PowerPoint.

 
Prerequisites

Students must be able to competently use a mouse, keyboard and have an understanding of managing files in Windows. Students should also have knowledge of using Microsoft Word.
