Oracle Learning Management (OLM) retrospective recording

Course description

This course will provide you with a general awareness of the ESR project, and particularly the Oracle Learning Management and talent management aspects. You will be provided with access to a training environment to go through the process of setting up classes, retrospectively recording attendance and training completion and assign competencies to a member of staff manually.

 
Aims and outcomes

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • understand ESR and the OLM and TIM project at a top level and its purpose
  • understand the structure and terminology of the OLM catalogue
  • set-up classes against existing course offerings in the catalogue
  • record attendance and completion against a class, for both internal and external students
  • create an external student record against an existing customer record
  • assign competencies to staff records manually
  • understand the necessary administrative processes associated with recording and data quality procedures associated with the catalogue
 
Target audience

Any member of staff with administrative responsibility for recording educational activity.

 
Prerequisites

Please liaise with your care group OLM liaison so they are aware of your need to attend this training course. You will be contacted in advance of the course to confirm the educational recording you are involved with as well as the care group area you are responsible for.
