Course description
This course looks at how to assess and manage medical patients who present with acute illnesses.

Looking at the major organ systems, cardiac, respiratory, GI, renal and Neuro, as well as looking at sepsis and DKA.

To improve the assessment and initial management of the acutely unwell medical patient

To encourage early and appropriate senior review of unwell patients

To improve communication between members of the multidisciplinary team
Target audience
Senior band 5 nurses and above, FY1 and FY2 doctors working within Division B.
