Course description

The course will cover all aspects of the leads responsibilities for health and safety in their roles, looking at a wide range of topics, risk assessment, COSHH, health and safety file, key legislation. When an inspector calls sanctions and cost.

Aims and outcomes

To give all those attending an understanding of their responsibilities for health and safety in particular.

All delegates will be able to:

list main health and safety function of role
undertake simple risk assessments
describe a range of factors relating to health and safety inspections by enforcing authority
access information relating to health and safety from a range of web sites

Health and safety leads or managers with health and safety role

Prerequisites

Must be health and safety lead or manager with health and safety responsibilities
