Infection prevention and control
Infection prevention and control is integral to patient care and is a key focus within the Trust.
It is essential that staff have the knowledge and information they require in order to implement effective infection control practices, thereby reducing, to an acceptable minimum, the risk of the acquisition of an infection amongst patients, health care workers and any others in the health care setting.
