Aims and outcomes
This course which consists of five days tuition held at Solent University is accredited by the University and successful students will be awarded 20 CAT points at level 4.
This will require completion of an assignment which should take between eight and fifteen hours in total to complete. Students must commit to completing the assignment as a condition of course acceptance.
Target audience
Any employee moving into a first management position where they will be responsible for delivering a service and who would normally recruit, appraise, motivate staff and carry some financial responsibility.
Prerequisites
At least three weeks notice of cancellation must be given otherwise a charge of £250 will be applied.
Entry criteria:
The course has been defined within the individual's appraisal and is included in their personal development plan (PDP).
Evidence of a completed appraisal within the past 12 months and current PDP will be required.
The learning agreement, supplied by training and development, has been discussed completed and returned to them.
The employee has made a commitment to the time required for completion of the assignments to achieve accreditation to the awarding body. This will vary between participants, (8 to 15 hours) and must be completed within four weeks of the last day of the course. Time is allocated to attend all days, fully.

Please note, £250 will be charged to all applicants if they do not attend without three weeks prior notice.
