Appraisal and knowledge and skills framework (KSF) for staff

Course description

This course is designed to help staff understand the KSF and appraisal process. 

All staff should receive an annual appraisal with their manager in which they should discuss the individual's appraisal, progress towards and achievement of their KSF outline and agreement of their personal development plan. 

This course will focus on explaining the appraisal process, particularly focusing on the KSF, and will make staff aware of their responsibilities towards this process.

Target audience

This course is aimed at all staff who are new to the NHS, do not already have knowledge of the KSF or who have not yet received their appraisal.
