Managing work and life stress

Course description

This workshop will give you time to think about your personal stressors and will help you to plan your own strategy to deal with stress at work and in your personal life.

We will look at:

  • identifying stressors
  • recognising the effects of stress
  • the physiological basis of the stress response
  • lifestyle changes to minimise the effects of stress

Aims and outcomes

To help participants to recognise the stressors in their lives and to develop ways of reducing, managing or eliminating stress.

Everyone needs some positive pressure in their life but when we feel that life's demands exceed our ability to cope, stress can be hard to deal with and potentially damaging.
