AHPs and healthcare scientists statutory and mandatory training requirements
The Trust has a responsibility to provide various statutory and mandatory training and to ensure that its staff attend. Statutory training is required to ensure that the Trust is meeting any legislative duties. Mandatory training is an organisational requirement to limit risk and maintain safe working practice.
-
You must attend a Trust Induction in your first month of starting work at the Trust.
-
During your first year you must also complete the statutory and mandatory training sessions that were not covered in your induction.
-
Each year thereafter you should complete the sessions again (unless otherwise specified) to ensure and record that you are up to date.
Download the statutory and mandatory training log for AHPs and healthcare scientists| to find out what training sessions you need to do, and to take to your annual appraisal as evidence of completion.
There are often adjustments to the stat and mand training logs. Please ensure you use the current version and do not refer to any previous versions.
If you wish to see the Trust's full statutory and mandatory training matrix, it can be found on staffnet, the Trust's intranet.
