Immigration requirements
If you are from outside the EEA certain restrictions will apply. You should seek advice from the UK Border Agency |and establish if you are eligible for a certificate of sponsorship under Tier 2 of the Points-Based Immigration System.
Registration requirements
If you are a doctor wishing to practice medicine in the UK, you must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) before engaging in employment or training there. Registration grants prospective doctors the legal status necessary to carry out professional duties.
There are different types of registration: full, provisional, limited and specialist registration.
