Foundation programme job descriptions from the trainees' point of view
All foundation programme trainees were asked by their programme directors to write their own job descriptions for the placements they have completed during their F1 and F2 training.
This has given all trainees the opportunity to give their own perspective on how it feels to be a doctor in various specialties within the Trust and offsite. The aim is to give final year medical students a glance on what to expect in their first foundation year and also prepares current foundation year one trainees for their transition to FY2. All job descriptions are written from a personal point of view and can contain diverse information such as how a ward works to how best to prepare yourself before placements.
