Preceptorship is 'a period of transition for the newly qualified registrant during which time he or she will be supported by a preceptor, to develop their confidence as an autonomous professional, refine skills, values and behaviours and to continue on their journey of life-long learning’
We are committed to providing all newly qualified registrants from all disciplines a period of preceptorship. Please open the link to our preceptorship pledge. Each division has a hub and spoke approach to preceptorship, but all give assurances that the minimum standards are applied.
For further information please contact your preceptors, ward leader or education lead.
