Skills passport for nurses and midwives
The UHSFT skills passport document used in the first year post-qualifying, to be used alongside each individual’s preceptorship programme or portfolio.
The structured process ensures that you first year KSF outlines are achieved, and it will enable you to see the development opportunities open to you and expected of you in the first qualifying year.
The passport also recognises previous training, mapping this evidence against learning outcomes.
Educational evidence alone is not sufficient for an individual to get through the KSF gateway; preceptorship portfolios provide the evidence on individuals’ competence.
