Southampton nurses ophthalmic group study day, 5 February 2014
The Southampton nurses ophthalmic group (SNOG) is holding a study day on Wednesday, 5 February 2014 from 9am to 4pm in the Heartbeat Education Centre, F level, North Wing, Southampton General Hospital. The day is aimed at nurses who work with ophthalmic patients, and is free for UHS staff.
Topics to be covered include
- post-op cataracts
- ocular emergencies
- AMD and nurse led injection clinics
- action for visually impaired people
- diabetic retinopathy
- corneal ulcers
- optic neuritis.
Certificates for your professional portfolio will be issued. Tea and coffee and a cold buffet will be provided.
For external attendees, the cost is £35 if booked and paid for before 1 January 2014 or £40 if paid for after.
