Information for patients travelling by Air Ambulance (Charter)
If you are unable to return on a scheduled flight and the Medical team feel an Air Ambulance is required, the normal procedure is for the Medical team in Southampton to secure a bed at Jersey General Hospital. The Medical team in Jersey must give permission for the Air Ambulance. The Liaison Team will then organise this for you, it may still mean that an escort is required, however, the Liaison Team will keep you informed.
