Chapels and quiet places at Southampton General Hospital
We have a number of chapels and quiet rooms where people can sit quietly or pray privately. These rooms are open 24 hours a day for patients, visitors and staff to use, whatever their beliefs may be.
There is a multi-denominational chapel on level D of Southampton General Hospital. There are Anglican and Roman Catholic chaplains on the staff, and visits from religious advisors from other faiths can be arranged if you wish. Please let the ward staff know if you would like to speak to one of our religious advisors.
A duty chaplain is available round the clock for any urgent needs.
