Dr Foster safety report

Dr Foster recently released a report entitled ‘How safe is your hospital?’. The report scored trusts on overall patient safety measures and grouped into 'bands' those with similar scores between one, for the poorest performers and five, for the best.

SUHT was pleased to be ranked in band four, with a score of 79% which was the highest score for all the trusts in the local area. Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust were also in band four, with scores of 66% while Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust were in band 2, with scores of 19%
