Our infection rates have improved significantly over the last year.
As the graph below shows, we have not had any MRSA cases within the hospital for four consecutive months.

We had a difficult start to the year but have worked hard across the Trust to bring down the number of Clostridium difficile cases we have had. Since April 2009 we have been below the target number of cases.
