Major changes have taken place on SUHT's wards to improcve our same sex facilities.
Improvements in accommodation, washing and bathing facilities have been completed and a number of wards are now exclusively male or female.
Mixed sex accommodation is limited to very few areas where specialist care and observation is essential.
All inpatient bays have been fully enclosed with doors, which is helping with privacy and noise reduction.
