What happens when I come in?
What happens when you come in will depend very much on what you are coming in for.
You may be coming to hospital for an operation to try to fix your abnormal heart rhythm, or you may be coming for a simple heart monitoring test for your heart.
Whatever you are coming for, you will be given plenty of information to let you know the procedure.
If you come for an outpatients appointment first, you will be given leaflets and will have a chance to talk to the nurses about what will happen.
