Podiatry staff
The podiatry team are a community-based team that care for foot related problems. The majority of the vascular surgery patients with foot problems tend to have diabetes.
The podiatry team will refer patients, with whom they are concerned, directly to our clinic or ward. They are also instrumental in the follow-up and surveillance of the foot wounds in the long term.
They form a key role in the combined diabetic foot clinics with the diabetologists, vascular surgeons and the pedorthist (make suitable footwear according to requirements).
