Vascular surgical consultants
All of the consultants are dedicated vascular surgeons who maintain their General Medical Council and Vascular Society accreditations. All work is monitored and all major cases are discussed in multidisciplinary forums to ensure that treatment is in line with consensus opinion. National and international meetings are regularly attended to keep abreast with the rapid changes in medicine. New techniques and devices are taken on board wherever appropriate to keep the unit at the forefront of vascular surgery.
All of the consultants are proficient in the management of aneurysms, routine arterial bypasses and venous surgery.
The South Coast Vascular Unit acts as a referral centre for complicated cases from the surrounding regions.
