Vascular ward staff
The vascular ward is usually a hive of activity. It usually has a large number of patients requiring intensive nursing care. There are also a large number of patients who have had non-healing ulcers for a long period of time. For this reason the unit is divided into two sections. One section looks after patients who are at a lower risk of infection and the other is for those who have higher risk open wounds.
The ward sister is Nicola Williams and there are three junior sisters.
