Our facilities
The Breast Imaging Unit is based on E level of the Princess Anne Hospital, in a purpose-built department.
Facilities include:

A comfortable and welcoming reception and waiting area

Dedicated mammography rooms

Dedicated ultrasound rooms

Modern consulting rooms

A prosthesis fitting room
Administration offices for the service are on C level.
Mobile screening units
If you are invited to be screened as part of the national screening programme|, you will visit one of the unit's three mobile screening units.
These are purpose-built vehicles equipped with a mammography/clinic room, which takes the service to various sites in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset.
