Children's cancer and haemotology: Piam Brown

The Piam Brown unit is a regional paediatric oncology and haematology centre in the South Central area, caring for children aged 0 - 16 years. We are based within Southampton General Hospital and are one of 22 regional centres across the UK treating children and adolescents with cancer and haematological disorders.

Piam Brown consists of a ten-bed inpatient ward, a day care and outpatient area and the children's community outreach team. Find out more about our facilities|

We have a well established shared care system with other district general hospitals, which enables our patients to have some of their treatment nearer to home. Find out more about our shared care system|.

Piam Brown also has a large multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, play staff and dieticians, who provide high quality care to children, adolescents and their families. Meet the team| at Piam Brown.
