Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre
The Macmillan Centre provides a safe and welcoming environment for people affected by cancer. It is located on B level at Southampton General Hospital|.
Services for people with cancer, their families, friends and carers include:

a wig service
The centre also provides a focus for support groups and 'Look Good, Feel Better' sessions.
The centre's facilities include:

a main drop-in lounge where users can get information and relax

a library, with a comprehensive information collection and Internet access

a quiet room for privacy and/or counselling

two rooms for complementary therapy
-
a group activities room for meetings, relaxation and yoga sessions
The service is available to all people affected by cancer on a self-referral basis. You can visit or contact the centre.
It is open between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday ,on a drop-in basis. We offer appointments for complementary therapies, benefits advice, counselling and the wig fitting service.
Facilities are available to professionals, self-help groups, and voluntary and community bodies outside core opening hours.
We provide a relaxed, friendly and confidential environment, our staff and volunteers are here to help, so please drop in and see us!
