Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre
We offer a peaceful, welcoming and confidential space for people affected by cancer. You can come in to relax, or take up the services on offer. Find us on B level, East Wing at Southampton General Hospital (by the eye unit).
We're open Monday to Friday, from 10am to 4pm. Anyone affected by cancer is welcome to drop in.
Our services are for people with cancer, their families, friends and carers. They include
- access to support
- an opportunity to talk
- accurate, comprehensive and appropriate information
- directions to other sources of information and support
- help with practical matters
- complementary therapies
- benefits and employment advice
- a wig service

While we run the centre on a drop-in basis, we offer appointments for complementary therapies, benefits advice, counselling and the wig fitting service. Call us on 023 8120 6037 to make an appointment or to find out more about any of the .
Outside of our core opening hours, our facilities are available to professionals, self-help groups, and voluntary and community bodies.
