Dr Simon Crabb

Dr Crabb specialises in the treatment of prostate, bladder and kidney cancers and has a clinical and laboratory research programme to develop new treatments for these diseases. His research interests are detailed on the University of Southampton website. He runs clinics on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Matthew Wheater

Dr Matthew Wheater

Dr Wheater specialises in the treatment of testicular, prostate, bladder and kidney cancers. He leads the testicular cancer service for Wessex and has a research interest in chemotherapy for testicular cancer. He runs urology clinics on Wednesdays and Fridays and a testicular cancer clinic on Monday afternoons. Testicular cancer patients are also offered patient triggered follow-up.

Catherine Heath

Dr Catherine Heath

Dr Heath trained in Leeds and completed a fellowship in Toronto. She specialises in radiotherapy for urological malignancies including IMRT with image guidance, and both low dose rate (seeds) and high dose rate prostate brachytherapy. She runs clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Southampton and on Mondays in Winchester. Her research interests include national trials such as Radicals and Stampede. Most prostate patients are now offered patient triggered follow-up.
