Children's inpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy
The orthopaedic children's physiotherapist covers G3| and day cases on John Atwell|.
This acute service allows children to be safely discharged from hospital on appropriate walking aids or sets up the necessary support at home for the child and their family.
Treatment may include exercise programmes, teaching children to use walking aids, hydrotherapy, and gym work.
Neonatal orthopaedic conditions are seen at the Princess Anne Hospital by the neonatal physiotherapist as soon as possible after their first medical.
