Our facilities
Southampton's eye casualty is run from a purpose-built building on the site of Southampton General Hospital.
Offering a 24-hour emergency service, the unit has a range of specialist equipment to assess and treat all kinds of eye conditions.
This is backed up by highly-skilled staff who are experts in their field.
All of the unit's trained nurses have additional specialist ophthalmic training and most have worked in ophthalmology for over five years.
