Fundraising for NICU

Charity Logo
Welcome to the fundraising pages for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Princess Anne Hospital Southampton.
The Neonatal Unit is a regional unit for the care of sick newborn babies, both premature and term. We also specialise in the care of those babies who require general and cardiac surgery. We care for approximately 700 babies each year.

Neonatal Unit:NICUOur babies have survived as young as 23 weeks with some of them only weighing 460g/1lb.

We are currently expanding at a cost of £2m to become one of the biggest Neonatal Units in the Country. We shall have 36 cots, of which 20 will be Intensive Care and 16 Special Care.

We do rely on the generosity of people to raise money for our charity fund to help buy pieces of equipment needed to care for these babies and to provide comfortable surroundings for the parents, many of who spend many months visiting their baby/s whilst they are cared for on the unit.

Mum and Baby:NICUTo make a donation please send a cheque made payable to NICU and forward to:

We rely not just on big event donations but also the great number of small ones, which together make all the difference to the care we can give.
