Meet the team
There are seven consultant anaesthetists in our team. All patients requiring a general anaesthetic for thoracic surgery will be treated by a consultant, although there may further anaesthetists in training grades involved in their care.
Depending on the operation patients may also be seen post-operatively by the acute pain team, with whom we liaise closely.
